Claim your lucky place for £1 and WIN cash prizes from £5 to £1 Million

PROMO CODE: Get £5 free play when you Deposit £5 using promo code GEOFPL :-)

Being a free lottery, I wouldn’t normally mention this on FPL, but GeoLotto is a really innovative way to win some pretty big cash prizes. There is a 1 in 20 chance of winning a cash prize with more than £17 million to be won anywhere in the country.

If, like me, you don’t play the National Lottery then look away now. But if you do like to spend a few pounds each week dreaming of becoming an overnight millionaire then why not try GeoLotto? It’s similar to FPL in that you choose a location and that becomes your entry, but instead of a postcode you choose a square on the map of Britain, so you can buy a place for your home or where you were born, where you went to school, your football team ground…… or anywhere lucky for you!

It costs £1 to enter a place into the weekly prize drop, but if you want to stop other people from owning your place, you better hurry as places are being snapped up. The weekly prizes are as follows:

Prize Number of winners
£1,000,000 1
£100,000 15
£10,000 100
£1,000 2,000
£25 75,000
£5 1,502,191
£5 2,020,199

Anybody had any experience with GeoLotto before? Any winners out there? Please let us know in the comments section below.

Chris, can i enter my mums postcode and check it for her everyday at the same time as i check my ‘different’ postcode ?
She liked the sound of it ,but doesn’t use the internet (older generation and all that).
I said i’d find out if i could check for her.
She does have an email address i setup for her when doing her tesco clubcard.
So it would be her postcode and her email.

To put it all in perspective, if you pay money into a lottery it is not an investment it is gambling and the chances of winning for any single entry are:
National Lottery – any prize 1:52; jackpot (potentially many £millions)1:14 million
GeoLotto – any prize 1:20; jackpot (£1 million) 1:40 million
Premium Bonds – any prize 1:26,000; jackpot (£1 million) 1:27 billion

But with the Premium Bonds you get your money back and, therefore, are not gambling. So you pay your money and take your choice. For the two lotteries the only real winners are the organisations running them (and to some extent the charities). Remember that Premium Bond prizes are the interest the government is paying as PBs are a way for the government to borrow money, so they don’t actually make any money out of this. You have to decide what you want and then go for it and not complain if you don’t win.

I have been playing GeoLotto since October last year, and have won 5 x £5 on the main draw in that time. Not great, but there are other games you can play on the site from as little as 1p, and in June I won over £41 on a free to play game.

Played Geo lotto on and off over the year and found it to be a waste of time, as tended to win small amounts on any free games but nothing when using my own deposits so closed account and called it a day.
