FPL is in Today’s The Sun & Forbes Magazine Website!

by Chris | News

News of the £50 per day rise, 5% postcodes entered, and £25,000 prize total are starting to earn column inches for FPL. Two big articles in less that 24 hours!

A few weeks ago I met up with a Jasper Hamill, a Forbes Magazine journalist over a few beers in London. We had a great chat about FPL, where it started, how it works, and where I see it going. To my delight he published this article about the myself and the site on Forbes.com. The audience is mostly American so not a massive source of new users, but it’s great to prove credibility and another place to point the “I’ve been waiting 2 weeks for my postcode to win… this is clearly a scam”-sayers!

But then I thought, if Forbes are interested why not try some British papers? So, I hit the phones and spoke to, among others, Simon English from the The Sun. Journalists are extremely busy and are constantly harassed by people with “a great idea” like me, so I was hugely surprised when he emailed me asking for a photo yesterday. What could that possibly be for…?

This morning I awoke to a notification from FPL that member Mark Gallacher had posted the following:

Morning Chris, nice little article in The Sun today about you and your website, page 41 in the City News, expect another rush of sign ups, congratulations!

Hurrah! We’re in the National Press, and the big one too! If you want to check it out yourself it is on page 41 in the Sun City section of today’s edition.

Massive thanks to both Jasper Hamill and Simon English. I’m going to get back on the phone now. Will keep you posted 🙂
